Cardiologist

Our client in California is seeking a dedicated Cardiologist for a 100-day assignment, with an ongoing need for two weeks per month. This role involves a dynamic mix of inpatient cardiology coverage, afternoon outpatient clinic work, and 24-hour call responsibilities on weekdays and weekends. • Setting: Clinic and Call environment
• Patient Volume: 14-24 patients per day
• Staffing Mix: Full support staff in hospital and clinic, including subspecialties and interventional cardiology
• EMR: Epic

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient cardiology coverage and conduct rounds.
• Manage afternoon outpatient clinic appointments Monday through Friday.
• Participate in 24-hour weekend call rotation and some weekday 24-hour call.
• Perform general cardiology consultations at a hospital.
• Interpret echocardiograms, stress tests, and electrocardiograms (ECGs).
