We are seeking a skilled Cardiologist in Virginia for a 90-day assignment. This Physician role involves a dynamic schedule, combining hospital duties in the mornings with outpatient clinic visits in the afternoons, alongside shared call responsibilities. Key responsibilities include managing hospital consults, performing diagnostic procedures such as stress tests, generator changes, and loop recorder insertions, reading echos, and conducting cardioversion procedures.
Practice Info
- Setting: Inpatient and outpatient clinic, with call responsibilities.
- Patients per day: 10-12
- Staffing Mix: RNs - 2, PA/NPs - 1, Office Staff - 2
- EMR: Athenahealth, Meditech EHR
Responsibilities
- See consults in the hospital.
- Perform stress tests.
- Perform generator changes.
- Perform loop recorder insertions.
- Read echos.
- Perform cardioversion.
- See patients in the office in the afternoon.
- Take shared call with other Cardiologists, including one weekend per month.
