Cardiologist – Preventive Cardiology

Overview

Cardiologist - Preventive Cardiology with expertise in diagnosis and treatment of cardiac patients with lipid disorders, hypertension, metabolic syndrome or chronic kidney disease. Experienced or fellowship trained in preventive cardiology welcomed. The position is within the Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute at Cleveland Clinic.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise in Preventive Cardiology within a multispecialty outpatient clinic based in Preventive Cardiology and serve as the attending on hospital service as scheduled.
• Collaborate with other Cardiology specialists and cardiovascular surgeons to manage outpatient and inpatient patients with complex multisystem disease in a comprehensive and effective manner.
• Participate in opportunities for research and in the education of fellows and residents.
• Participate in teaching activities and other departmental initiatives as applicable.

Qualifications

• MD with expertise/experience in diagnosis and treatment of lipid disorders, hypertension, metabolic syndrome or chronic kidney disease.
• Experience preferred or fellowship trained in preventive cardiology.
• Ambitious, driven physician committed to contributing to the growth and long-term goals of the department.
