Cardiologist

The Mount Sinai Health System is seeking a full-time Cardiologist to join Mount Sinai Doctors-Forest Hills, a growing ambulatory cardiology center in Queens. This role offers the opportunity to provide exceptional patient care within a university-affiliated, community-based practice, supported by the expertise of a leading academic medical center. The successful candidate will also participate in clinical activities at Mount Sinai Queens Hospital and have faculty eligibility at the Icahn School of Medicine.

• Growing ambulatory cardiology center staffed by general cardiologists and supported by specialists in Advanced Heart Failure and Electrophysiology
• Equipped with a state-of-the-art echocardiography laboratory as well as nuclear laboratory
• Physicians offer a team approach to patients' care, sharing a unified electronic medical record and collaborating on treatment plans
• Provides a complete range of care at one location, from general medicine to cardiology, women's health services, and more

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care in high-functioning outpatient environment
• Work with other cardiologists, PCPs, non-cardiac specialists and staff to ensure excellent patient care, quality outcomes, and patient satisfaction
• Participate in the clinical activities of Mount Sinai Queens Hospital including care of inpatients and cardiac testing
• Attend the patients of our group at the Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan
• Participate in the academic and clinical activities of Mount Sinai Fuster Heart including regular conferences, teaching, and clinical research
• Collaborate with multi-specialty practice colleagues as an integral part of a world-class health system

Compensation

• Compensation range from $300,000 to $450,000 (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)

Requirements

• Medical Degree from an Accredited University
• New York Medical License
• BE or BC in Cardiology
• Committed to Mount Sinai and the communities we serve
• Excellent communication, bedside manner, and organizational skills
