Role Description
Manhattan Medical Arts PLLC is seeking a Part-Time Cardiologist to join our growing multidisciplinary medical practice. This is an on-site position requiring 2–3 days per week , with clinical responsibilities shared between our Manhattan (Chelsea) and Forest Hills, Queens locations.
The Cardiologist will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with cardiovascular conditions, perform and interpret diagnostic testing, and develop individualized treatment plans. Responsibilities include providing comprehensive cardiac consultations, reviewing diagnostic studies, collaborating with primary care providers and specialists, and ensuring high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering patient-centered care while staying current with advances in cardiovascular medicine.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage cardiovascular diseases and disorders
- Perform and interpret cardiac diagnostic tests including EKGs, Echocardiograms, Stress Tests, Holter Monitors, Carotid Ultrasounds, and Lower Extremity Arterial Studies
- Develop individualized treatment plans and provide ongoing patient management
- Collaborate with primary care providers and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
- Educate patients on preventive cardiology and heart-healthy lifestyle modifications
- Review and interpret cardiovascular diagnostic studies
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical best practices
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
- Active New York State Medical License or eligibility for licensure
- Strong clinical, diagnostic, and patient management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
- Experience in outpatient cardiology preferred
