Cardiologist Needed in Beautiful Mountain Community in Sunny Southeast

Overview

Huntsville Hospital Heart Center is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible General Cardiologist to join our practice in Ft. Payne, Alabama. Cardiologists in Ft. Payne provide care to patients at our practice clinic and at DeKalb Regional Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive cardiovascular care to patients at both the practice clinic and DeKalb Regional Hospital.
• Perform diagnostic right and left heart catheterizations.
• Conduct coronary interventions, loop implants, pacemaker and ICD insertions.
• Manage transesophageal echocardiograms, cardioversions, and other non‑invasive imaging modalities (nuclear SPECT, coronary CT, echo, and pulmonary V/Q studies).
• Participate in inpatient and outpatient advanced practice provider support.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Cardiology (BC/BE).
• Unrestricted Alabama MD/DO license.
