- Inpatient admissions, consultations, and patient evaluations
- Diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions
- EKG interpretation with ambulatory monitoring
- Transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography
- Exercise and pharmacologic stress testing
- Tilt-table testing
- Arterial and central venous catheter placement
- Elective cardioversion
- Transcutaneous and temporary transvenous pacemaker placement
- Emergency pericardiocentesis
- Coronary angiography
- Right and left heart catheterization
- Hemodynamic monitoring
- Intra-aortic balloon pump insertion
- Elective pericardiocentesis
- Fluoroscopy use
- Administration of antiplatelet, anticoagulant, and thrombolytic agents

Shift & Schedule
- 60-day assignment
- Daily shifts from 0800-1700, approximately 8 hours
- 1:6 call requirement, which includes one week every sixth week with Monday-Friday evening weeknight call and 24-hour weekend call on Saturday and Sunday
- Call Schedule: Inhouse call, 1:6, 1 week every 6th week, Mon-Fri evening weeknight call and then 24 hour weekend call Saturday and Sunday
- Patients Per Day: 13
- LOA: 60 Days
