Scheduled clinical hours plus call -- 1:1 call ratio, beeper call
10 - 12 patients per shift
Both inpatient and outpatient cardiology patients
ICU and STEMI case coverage required
Non-invasive procedures, echocardiography, TEE, and nuclear cardiology
Electrophysiology, cardiac ablation, pacemaker, and ICD placement required
Admissions required -- approx. 1 per call shift
Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
