Cardiologist

Sutter Medical Group of the Redwoods (SMGR) is seeking a full-time general non-invasive Cardiologist to join their current 8-provider practice in Santa Rosa and Novato/Petaluma, California. The incoming provider will experience excellent growth potential with support from an established team and built-in referral networks. Practice Info

• Spacious new offices immediately adjacent to hospital with outreach clinic in Petaluma
• Built in referral network from strong PCPs within group and patients with Sutter insurance plans
• Office ancillaries include: Three echo machines, with three full-time techs and recruiting for a third, nuclear stress testing supervised by an exercise physiologist, cardiac CT capability, device clinic, centralized anticoagulation clinic
• Integrated EMR (EPIC) in office and hospital
• Strong office support staff
• Regional STEMI Program, Coronary Interventions, Pacemaker/ICD implants, Cardiac CTA with CT-FFR, cardiac MRI, ECMO capable
• Strong hospitalist and intensivist support
• 124-bed hospital

Responsibilities

• Provide 1 week every 7 weeks of inpatient consultative only service with hospital NPs

Compensation

• Competitive salary with income guarantee
• Salary range: $633,804 - $698,171 per year

Shift & Schedule

• Full-time
• Call: 1 night/week, 1 weekend every 7 weeks

Qualifications

• Board certification in general cardiology
• Transesophageal echocardiography capability required
• Cardiac CT, nuclear cardiology, and/or pacemaker implantation skills are desirable, but not required
