Cardiologist

Carondelet Medical Group is seeking a dedicated General Cardiologist to join their established, physician-led practice in Tucson, Arizona. This full-time, employed position offers the opportunity to focus on patient care with administrative burdens handled by centralized support. • Physician-led cardiology practice with deep roots in Southern Arizona
• Primary practice home at St. Joseph's Hospital, a nationally recognized cardiac center
• Multi-provider physician and APP team
• Centralized professional services support
• Dedicated structural heart team supporting high-risk patients, cardiogenic shock, structural/valvular disease, and STEMI/shock transfer management

Responsibilities

• Shared 7-days-on hospital rotation
• Perform hospital consults
• Interpret echocardiograms
• Interpret EKGs

Shift & Schedule

• Full-time employment
• 35-45 hours per clinic week
• Shared 7-days-on hospital rotation; no calls after 5 PM
• Clinic census 24-30 patients
• Hospital census 10-25 patients

Requirements

• MD or DO degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
• Arizona medical license, or eligibility to obtain one
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills with a commitment to patient-centered care
