Cardio-Oncologist

Palo Alto Foundation Medical Group is seeking a full-time cardiologist with expertise in heart failure and cardio-oncology to join its vibrant, full-spectrum cardiology practice. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a large multi-specialty medical group in the greater San Francisco Bay Area. The successful candidate will help further develop the existing cardio-oncology program and manage various etiologies of systolic and diastolic heart failure.

Practice Info

• Part of a large 2000+ multi-specialty medical group in the greater San Francisco Bay Area
• Outpatient clinics located in Palo Alto, San Carlos, and Santa Clara
• Admitting privileges at Stanford and El Camino hospitals
• Close working relationships with all Sutter locations in the Bay Area
• Offers a complete range of cardiovascular care with specialists in various subfields
• Current cardio-oncology program has significant support with a dedicated program manager, experienced NPs, philanthropic funding, and Sutter Administration

Responsibilities

• Further develop the current cardio-oncology program
• Manage systolic and diastolic heart failure of various etiologies

Compensation

• Guaranteed salary for two years with production bonus
• Shareholder eligible after two years
• Shareholders enjoy competitive, production-based income
• Relocation allowance
• Salary range: $427,500 - $475,000 /Yr

Requirements

• Specific training in cardio-oncology (or at least 2 years of clinical work)
• Expertise in managing systolic and diastolic heart failure of various etiologies
• Leadership experience to further develop the cardio-oncology program is ideal
• Post-fellowship training in HF is highly desirable
• Advanced Heart Failure certification not required
• Board-certified or Board eligible in Cardiology
