We are looking to hire a Cardiac Sonographer I! As a Cardiac Sonographer I at MercyOne Genesis, you will:

• Provide safe, effective, and culturally-competent care for newborn through aging adult patients undergoing echocardiography testing and/or procedures
• Acquire ultrasound images, evaluate tests using critical thinking and evidence based practice
• Process echocardiography studies for physician interpretation for structured reporting in adherence to American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) guidelines
• Active participation in quality monitoring and performance improvement activities in an ICAEL accredited facility

Schedule: 6:30a - 5:00p, 8 hour shifts, 38 hours per week, rotating weekends, rotating holidays, rotating on call.

General Requirements:

• 2 year Cardiac Ultrasound college program or equivalent experience
• Previous pediatric through adult experience in cardiac ultrasound, TAVR experience preferred
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or Registered Cardiac Sonographer or registry eligible and must get registered within 1 year of accepting position
