Job Summary and Qualifications: At Henrico Doctors’ Hospital, our Cardiac Cath Lab team performs special procedures in the outpatient room (i.e. DSE, TEE\’s, Cardioversion\’s and Tilt\’s). In addition to transporting patients to and from the Cath Lab, you will also perform and document care for all admissions and recovery room patients. Responsibilities
- You will transport patients to and from the Cath Lab
- Our nurses perform special procedures in the outpatient room (i.e., TEEs, Cardioversions, Stress tests, etc.)
- This person must effectively communicate verbal and written information, instruction and/or education to the patient, family members and other members of the health care team as appropriate
- You will perform and document nursing care for all admission and recovery room patients within the Cath Lab Scope of Care
Qualifications
- RN license in the state of Virginia
- Minimum of one year of ICU/CCU or comparable ER, Cath Lab and/or recovery experience required
- Three years working as a Registered Nurse preferred
- Additional training in critical care, ER and/or recovery preferred
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
