Role Overview

The Cardiac Cath Lab Assistant Nurse Manager oversees patient care, staff management, equipment maintenance, and departmental operations within the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage hiring, training, performance evaluations, and professional development of staff.
• Develop and monitor staffing plans, budgets, and operational goals, ensuring adherence to financial targets.
• Coordinate patient care, creating collaborative care plans based on assessments and medical treatments.
• Supervise staff productivity, conduct performance reviews, and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee staff scheduling, payroll, and communication, including staffing needs and overtime management.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, maintain equipment, and support departmental efficiency.
• Lead safety-sensitive tasks, requiring alertness and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (RN required).
• 2-5 years of nursing experience; 5-10 years preferred.
• Experience in procedural or critical care nursing preferred; Cardiac Cath Lab or Electrophysiology experience is a plus.
• Must hold BLS/ACLS certification or obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Strong leadership, clinical expertise, and critical thinking skills.
