Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Nurse
Location: Charleston, SC
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Job Description: As an Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Nurse, you will join a newly renovated lab with experienced staff dedicated to providing high-quality patient care. You will support a busy EP program, handling a variety of procedures including ablations and device implants.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in electrophysiology procedures such as ablations, pacemaker, and defibrillator implants.
- Maintain patient safety and monitor vital signs during procedures.
- Collaborate with a skilled team of physicians and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care.
- Participate in departmental initiatives to improve patient experience and outcomes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Current ACLS certification.
- Previous experience in electrophysiology, including scrubbing all EP procedures.
- Ability to monitor patients during procedures is a plus.
