Turkey Creek Medical Center, part of Tennova Healthcare, is seeking a fellowship-trained Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join their highly respected cardiovascular anesthesia team in Knoxville, Tennessee. This role offers the opportunity to practice at the top of your specialty within a comprehensive facility that includes a 24/7 emergency department, ICU, advanced surgical suites, and a dedicated Heart Hospital. Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive perioperative anesthesia care
  • Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations and assessments
  • Obtain and/or verify informed patient consent
  • Discuss anesthetic options, risks, and expected outcomes with patients and families
  • Perform induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
  • Monitor patients' physiological status throughout procedures
  • Manage hemodynamic and clinical interventions as necessary
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, proceduralists, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes

Compensation

  • $600,000 Annual Base Salary
  • $125,000 Sign-On Bonus
  • Additional incentive opportunities available

Requirements

  • M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology Residency
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Cardiac Anesthesiology Fellowship
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
  • Eligible for or currently holding an unrestricted Tennessee medical license
  • Demonstrated expertise in the perioperative management of complex cardiac surgical patients
  • ECFMG certification (if applicable)
