Cardiac Anesthesiologist / General Anesthesiologist
Excel Division, part of US Anesthesia Partners North Texas, is seeking Anesthesiologists for both cardiac and general positions in North Dallas, Plano, Frisco, and surrounding areas. This opportunity offers partner and non-partner track options, with a diverse case mix including cardiac, thoracic, electrophysiology, spine, neuro, vascular, and general cases. A day doc position with no call or weekend requirements is also available.
Practice Info
- Open positions for noncardiac and cardiac anesthesiologists.
- A day doc position is primarily located in Plano and Frisco.
- All cardiac & all general cases are MD-only cases.
- No in house call, no trauma, and no OB coverage.
- Excel Division covers over 4,000 on-pump cardiac surgeries a year, which include CABG, valves, aorta, and minimally invasive cardiac surgeries.
- No Care Team.
Responsibilities
- For Cardiac Position, cases include vascular, general, EP, spine, cardiac and neuro.
- For Cardiac Position, candidate can do mostly cardiac cases or a mixture of case types.
- For Noncardiac Position, cases include non-thoracic vascular, general, spine, neuro, EP, little ortho.
Compensation
- Cardiac Position: Base Salary $600,000 W-2 plus Benefits.
- Noncardiac Position: Base Salary $500,000 W-2 plus Benefits.

Shift & Schedule
- Standard hours are 7:00am-5:00pm but can be somewhat flexible if needed.
- All Calls are home calls, about 2 weekday calls per month, and 7-8 weekend calls per year for Cardiac Position.
- All Calls are home calls, about 2 weekday calls per month, and 10 weekend calls per year for Noncardiac Position.
- Call people usually finish around 7-8 pm (non-partner-track Associates will not be required to take call).
