Cardiac Anesthesiologist

Tenet Health is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join its expanding, high-volume cardiovascular program. This hospital-employed position offers an excellent opportunity to practice in a collaborative environment with access to advanced cardiac surgical cases. The role emphasizes advanced monitoring and perioperative care within a dedicated cardiac anesthesia practice.

Practice Info

• Dedicated cardiac anesthesia practice
• Case mix includes CABG, valve repairs/replacements, structural heart procedures (TAVR, MitraClip), thoracic aortic surgery, and mechanical circulatory support (LVAD, ECMO)
• Participation in general OR cases is optional or limited, depending on candidate preference
• Advanced monitoring and perioperative care, including hemodynamic optimization and critical care involvement
• Collaborative team of cardiac surgeons, interventional cardiologists, intensivists, and perfusionists
• High-volume cardiac program with excellent outcomes, modern OR suites, and a dedicated cardiac anesthesia team

Responsibilities

• Perform intraoperative TEE
• Provide hemodynamic optimization & critical care involvement

Requirements

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school
• Completed Anesthesiology residency
• Completion of Cardiac Anesthesia fellowship
• Board Certified / Eligible in Anesthesiology
• Advanced Perioperative TEE certification (or eligible)
• Eligible for medical licensure in FL
