Somnia Anesthesia, a physician-owned, clinician-led anesthesia group, is seeking full-time Cardiac Anesthesiologists to join their growing team at St. John's Regional Medical Center in Oxnard, CA. Practice Info

• Practice located at St. John's Regional Medical Center in Oxnard, CA and Dignity St. John Camarillo
• St. John's Regional handles general, ortho, urology, GYN, vascular, GI, outpatient, hearts, heads, neuro, occasional healthy peds, and OB cases across 8 ORs plus 2 OBs
• Dignity St. John Camarillo features general, ortho, urology, GYN, vascular, GI, outpatient, occasional healthy peds, and OB cases across 3 ORs plus 1 Cath lab
• OB cases are covered by a separate OB anesthesia team

Responsibilities

• Staff cardiac call, open hearts, and structural heart cases
• Work own cases with a collaborative approach to CRNAs

Compensation

• W2 - $600,000
• $10,000 relocation allowance
• $20,000 commencement bonus
• Referral bonus of up to $5,000 if a referred colleague is hired

Shift & Schedule

• Full-time (part-time and per diem opportunities available)
• Weekend: Call coverage only
• Variety of shifts: 8s/10s/12s; flexible scheduling
• Typical day when not on call is scheduled 7 am to 5 pm
• All call from home once cases are completed
• OB Call taken by a separate provider, no OB call requirement

Requirements

• Current CA license
• Cardiac fellowship
• BC required
• BLS/ACLS/PALS
