Cardiac & General Anesthesiologist

Practice Info

• Located at Methodist Dallas Medical Center, a Level 1 trauma and tertiary care hospital in Dallas, Texas.
• Offers a diverse case mix including trauma, general surgery, liver and kidney transplantation, ENT, neurosurgery, orthopedics, obstetrics, and cardiac anesthesia.
• No pediatric anesthesia cases.
• Obstetric cases are limited to supervision of highly experienced CRNAs.
• Physicians may choose to supervise CRNAs or perform their own cases.
• A variety of practice models are available, including partner-track positions, employed roles (with or without call), and shift-based schedules.

Compensation

• ACD consistently ranks among the highest in compensation per hour worked.
• For those pursuing partner track, the group employs a distinctive 'lump and divide' profit-sharing model, in which partners share profits equally.
• Additional compensation is provided for work after 5:00 p.m., all cardiac cases, and liver transplants.
• Malpractice Paid: Yes.
• Amount of Malpractice Coverage: 1 mil/3 mil.
