Cardiac Acute Care Services Night - Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant - Piedmont Eastside

Piedmont Heart Institute (PHI) is recruiting a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the Acute Care Services team at Piedmont Eastside Hospital. This is a full-time night position and a great opportunity to be employed by one of the nations leading cardiology programs. It offers the chance to collaborate with respected cardiologists and advanced practice providers across all cardiovascular services, including electrophysiology, transplant, advanced heart failure, critical care, interventional, surgical and research.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the evaluation and treatment of Cardiology patients in an inpatient setting.
• Take patient histories, conduct physical examinations, and record data in the patient record.
• Write progress notes, consults, admissions, and discharge summaries.
• Prepare patient work‑ups.
• Order and schedule diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for patients while delivering direct patient care services.
• Work alongside physicians and other Cardiology Advanced Practice Providers in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Masters or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited PA program and National Board Certification.
• OR licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as an NP by the State of Georgia with National Certification.
• Business Unit: Piedmont Heart Institute Physicians.
