The Campus Operations Manager functions as the primary operational administrator for a cluster of charter schools serving over 1000 students in grades K-12 located in the San Fernando Valley.What you will need to accomplish:School Safety:Implement and adhere to the school Traffic Management Plan (i.e. Drop Off & Pick Up Zone)Implement the School Safety Plan, the School Emergency Response Team assignments, Safety Training, and the provision of safety supplies and materialsEnsure schools: Complete the annual update and certification of the established School Safety PlanImplement safety protocols for before-school and after-school programsComply with established Injury/Illness Prevention Plan and Wellness PolicyManage, lead, and provide training to school support staff such as Campus Aides, Food Servers, and other classified staffPerform monthly walk-throughs of campus and ensure school is compliant with Health & Safety practices and report findings on a monthly dashboardSchool Services:Perform monthly attendance auditing and reporting to authorizerEnsure schools: Exceed the minimum standards set forth in the Quality Assurance Operational Review (QAOR) by providing individualized support to School Leadership and AdministrationRemain in compliance with National School Lunch Program regulationsResponsible for the provision of infrastructure, logistics, and adherence to applicable health department codesSupport schools in preparation for a successful annual oversight visit by authorizerHost weekly operational meetings with PrincipalsFinance and Accounting:Manage inventory and assignment of furniture, fixtures, and equipmentSupport schools with reconciling purchase orders and vendor invoicesEnsure compliance with PUC Schools Finance and Accounting ManualResponsible for the provision of school supplies and equipmentFacilities Maintenance:Coordinate the provision of service under established Service Agreements and Maintenance SchedulesEnsure that schools maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and energy efficiencyCoordinate maintenance, repairs, and facility improvements in partnership with PUC National Facilities and Operations DepartmentPerform periodic janitorial staff work evaluations to ensure safety and service targets are metEnsure that school security systems, fire/life safety systems, and other building systems are fully operationalEvent Management:Administer scheduling process and usage of school space such as multi-purpose rooms, classrooms, athletic facilities, and parking lotsSupport the planning and execution of school events including family meetings, professional development, graduations, health fairs, and other community eventsSupport end-of-year events/graduationsOther:Publish annual calendar of events as required by conditions of occupancy for the campusProcess Insurance Certificate requests as neededServe as designated contact for surrounding community such as neighbors, etc.Perform other duties as assignedQualificationsWhat do we require from you?Minimum Qualifications Education:Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in related field, or equivalent training and experience requiredMaster's degree preferredExperience:Knowledge of OSHA, and School SafetyPrevious experience in event planningSkills and Abilities Proficient with Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookExcellent communication skills (verbal and written)Alignment with core characteristics required of every PUC employee: pursuit of excellence, innovation, community, tenacity, and authenticityMust be flexible and team-orientedAble to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentBilingual in Spanish preferredStrong work ethic, accountability, and ownership of workRegular attendance, dependability, and punctuality in conformance with the standards are essential to the successful performance of this positionThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
