This combination of academics and skills ensures that CSG students will be well prepared for life beyond CSG.Columbus School for Girls seeks to hire multiple part-time Campus Operations Associates to support events, campus security, and general operations across Columbus School for Girls' three campus locations.
This role is ideal for responsible individuals who take pride in keeping spaces well-organized, safe and welcoming. The Operations Associate will report to the Director of Operations and work closely with the Operations Team to ensure that events run smoothly, the campus looks its best, and the school community feels supported.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Campus Operations & FacilitiesPerform light custodial and maintenance tasks to keep campus facilities clean, organized, and functionalIdentify and report facility or equipment issues promptlySupport day-to-day operations projects as assignedSecurity & SupervisionHelp monitor entrances, exits, crosswalks, and common areas during eventsServe as a visible presence to promote safety and orderAssist with directing visitors, students, and families around campusAssist with setup and teardown for school events, athletic contests, and assembliesMove and arrange furniture, equipment, flooring and signage as neededProvide on-site support during events to ensure smooth executionQualifications and Requirements:High School diploma required; At least 1 semester of college preferred6 months of work experienceExcellent communication skills with entire school constituency (faculty, staff, parents and visitors) with the ability to establish trustAbility to work cooperatively and communicate effectively with a diverse populationStrong attention to detailStrong problem-solving skillsConsistently exercises discretion and good judgmentAvailable to work a flexible schedule to include day, evening, weekend and holiday shifts as needed.Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds.Holds a valid drivers license or has reliable transportationColumbus School for Girls is an Equal Opportunity Employer and as such, does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, age, religion, national origin, ancestry, sexual orientation, disability, veteran status, marital status, or any other status protected by law.
