Perform office routines, clerical services and responsibilities associated with the campus and administrators' needs.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
High School Diploma or GED
Must be 18 years of age or older
Candidate must have satisfactory outcome of fingerprinting check
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Basic computer skills
Effective public relation skills to include greeting the public and telephone etiquette
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
Experience:
Minimum one year of clerical experience
Experience workingsuccessfully with children and adults
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:
Tools/Equipment Used: Frequent telephone use, standard office equipment including personal computer and peripherals
Posture: Prolong periods of sitting, walking, standing, bending, and stooping
Motion: Long periods of arm, hand, finger movement
Lifting: Occasional light lifting and carrying (up to 40+ lbs.)
Environment: Occasional district-wide travel
Mental Demands: Effective public relation skills and ability to maintain emotional control under stress

- Greet visitors courteously, determine their needs, check appointments, and direct or escort visitors to proper person.
- Answer office telephone, take accurate messages, and respond appropriately to requests for information.
- General office skills with the ability to maintain a filing and recordkeeping system as requested.
- Report discipline problems to the administration.
- Demonstrates teamwork through positive and cooperative working relationships with supervisors and coworkers.
- Assist in communications to students, parents, co-workers, the community and administration.
- Maintains a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about students.
- Adheres to ethical and legal standards and model behavior that is professional and responsible.
- Complies with district policies, as well as state and federal laws and regulations.
- Daily attendance and punctuality are essential functions of the job.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
