Campaign Field Fellow – Door-to-Door CanvassingNorth Shore Strategies is seeking Campaign Field Fellows to support Democratic campaign efforts throughout Schenectady, NY.This is a paid, field-based position centered on door-to-door canvassing and direct voter contact. Fellows will gain hands-on experience in political organizing while speaking directly with voters, delivering campaign messages, collecting voter feedback, and helping campaigns identify and mobilize supporters.This is an excellent opportunity for students, recent graduates, aspiring political professionals, or anyone interested in gaining practical campaign and organizing experience.About the RoleCampaign Field Fellows work on the front lines of our campaign programs. The primary responsibility of this position is going door-to-door and having conversations with voters.Fellows will receive training on campaign messaging, voter engagement, canvassing technology, and grassroots organizing techniques before conducting voter outreach in assigned communities.Primary ResponsibilitiesConduct door-to-door canvassing and speak directly with voters at their homesDeliver accurate and persuasive campaign messagingIdentify supporters, undecided voters, and other voter feedbackRecord voter responses and canvassing results using campaign technologyMeet daily voter-contact and door-knocking goalsAttend trainings, briefings, and team meetingsRepresent North Shore Strategies and our clients professionally in the communitySupport additional grassroots organizing activities as neededWhat You'll GainHands-on experience working on a professional political campaignTraining in voter contact, grassroots organizing, and campaign messagingExperience using voter-contact and campaign technologyExposure to the day-to-day operations of political field programsQualificationsComfortable walking door-to-door and approaching strangers to discuss political campaignsAble and willing to canvass outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditionsAvailable to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week while the program is activeStrong verbal communication and interpersonal skillsReliable, punctual, and goal-orientedAble to work independently while contributing to a teamComfortable working toward measurable outreach and performance goalsCommitment to Democratic candidates and causesPrior experience in canvassing, organizing, sales, customer service, or community engagement is a plus, but not requiredAbout North Shore StrategiesNorth Shore Strategies is a New York-based political consulting firm with a national presence, providing campaign strategy, digital media production, targeted canvassing, direct mail, and grassroots organizing services.
