Camp Staffing & Operations Director

Full Time Camp Lincoln, Nisswa, MN, US

Salary Range: $55,000.00 To $62,000.00 Annually

Do you love developing people, leading teams, and creating experiences that make a lasting impact?

Camp Lincoln is looking for an Assistant Director of Operations & Staffing to join our year-round leadership team in the beautiful lakes and woods of North-Central Minnesota.

For 115 years, Camp Lincoln has helped campers build confidence, character, independence, and lifelong connections. In this role, you’ll help make those experiences possible by recruiting and supporting an outstanding seasonal staff while helping lead the day-to-day operations that keep camp running smoothly.

As part of Cote Hospitality, you'll also join a family-owned company with opportunities to learn, grow, and build your career beyond camp.

Why This Role Matters

No two seasons look exactly alike. Throughout the year, you'll help:

  • Build an incredible team: Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and support the seasonal staff who bring camp to life.
  • Keep camp running: Coordinate staff logistics, scheduling, training, supplies, purchasing, vehicles, and other day-to-day operational needs.
  • Create a great staff experience: Help build a positive, welcoming culture where team members feel supported, valued, and excited to return.
  • Prepare for what's next: Support marketing and recruiting efforts, year-round planning, and post-season feedback to make each summer even better.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys both people leadership and behind-the-scenes organization and wants to see the direct impact of their work.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Previous residential summer camp leadership experience strongly preferred.
  • Recruiting, HR, hiring, or onboarding experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with CampMinder and/or ADP is a plus.
  • Collaborative, flexible, and genuinely passionate about creating great experiences for young people and staff.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and work comfortably in an active, outdoor camp environment.

Why You'll Love It Here

  • Make a difference: Your work directly shapes the experience of hundreds of campers and staff each summer.
  • Work somewhere extraordinary: Lakes, woods, fresh air, and a setting unlike the typical office.
  • Have a voice: Join a collaborative leadership team that values ideas, initiative, and growth.
  • Build your career: Explore opportunities across Cote Hospitality's camps, resorts, and hospitality businesses.
  • Enjoy year-round stability: Competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.

Ready to Make Your Mark?

If you're a people-focused leader who loves camp, thrives on organization, and wants a role where your work has a visible impact, we'd love to hear from you.
