CAM Field Technician

Location: 35136 McMurtrey Ave - Unit B, Bakersfield CA pay rate: $23-$25/hr Candidate has to be able to obtain a TWIC card Shift: Monday to Friday 8-5. But typical with Field Service there will be overtime during the week and weekends. And periods of time where the employee would be away for 2-3 weeks at a time during peak seasons

Job Summary: The Field Service Specialist will provide hands-on technical supervision and operating support, installation, repair and maintenance of CAMERON Valves and actuation and trouble-shooting situations as required. Willingness to promote the product and service line, good general attitude towards job duties, willingness to work rigorous schedule in inclement weather and varying condition, ability to drive long distances and follow rigorous safety and procedural guidelines from corporate and our customers.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• 4 to 5 years related field experience
• Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and basic internet usage
• Demonstrated strong mechanical aptitude/ability
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with customers, visitors, vendors and other employees
• Demonstrated ability to read and understand oral and written instructions
• Demonstrated ability to take apart and put together equipment according to detailed specifications
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Ability to work in confined spaces
• Ability to travel to remote locations
• Ability to work extended irregular work hours
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
• Ability to obtain TWIC card
• Must have a clean driving record
