EMS Dispatcher & Communications Specialist:
Status: Part Time / PRN
Location: Central Dispatch Office (Base in Solon Ohio)
Shifts Available: Rotating Schedules (Includes Days, Nights, and Holidays)
Role Overview:
As a Frontline Dispatcher, you are the critical link between our facility partners and our road crews. You will handle incoming transport requests, evaluate medical necessity, coordinate logistics using advanced GPS tracking software, and provide vital routing and safety support to our ambulances.
Key Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent (Prior EMS, Police, or Fire dispatch experience preferred).
Strong multitasking skills with the ability to handle high-stress situations calmly.
Proficiency with computer-aided dispatch (CAD) software and digital mapping systems.
Excellent telephone etiquette and geographical knowledge of our Ohio service areas.
