California Workers' Compensation Examiner

Analyzing and processing complex workers' compensation claims, the full-time California Workers' Compensation Claims Examiner will negotiate settlements, manage litigation processes, and ensure timely claim resolutions in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Investigates and gathers information to determine claim exposure and manages claims through action plans Negotiates claim settlements and ensures timely and appropriate payments and adjustments Coordinates vendor referrals and utilizes cost containment techniques to reduce overall claim costs Required qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred 3+ years of California workers' compensation claims experience 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience Knowledge of insurance principles and laws relevant to workers' compensation Proficiency in Microsoft Office and analytical skills
