California Union Contract Specialist

Managing collective bargaining agreements and payroll systems, the full-time California Union Contract Specialist will ensure accurate payroll setup for union employees, handle compliance auditing, and maintain data integrity while working remotely. Key Responsibilities Partner with HR and business operations to resolve employee pay issues and configure system updates during contract negotiations Translate complex collective bargaining agreements into rate tables and ensure compliance through auditing and data maintenance Coordinate implementation of union contract updates across payroll and related systems while leading audits and supporting compliance initiatives Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in payroll, union administration, human resources, or a related field required 3+ years of union payroll experience, preferably in the construction industry Deep knowledge of multi-local union rules and deduction structures Advanced Microsoft Excel skills FPC or CPP certification preferred
