To support a growing finance team, the contract Senior Accountant will manage month-end and quarter-end close activities, prepare journal entries and reconciliations, and ensure accurate financial reporting while working fully remotely for a duration of 6-7 months. Key responsibilities Manage and execute month-end and quarter-end close activities, ensuring compliance with GAAP Perform balance sheet reconciliations and account analyses while preparing for internal and external audits Analyze accounting processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and strengthen controls Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 5 years of progressive accounting experience with hands-on NetSuite ERP experience Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting Experience preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close activities Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and data analysis
