Supporting the litigation team, the full-time California QME Deposition Clerk will manage the lifecycle of Qualified Medical Evaluator depositions in workers' compensation cases, including case file reviews, deposition preparation, and attendance, all while working remotely. Key Responsibilities Review case files prior to depositions to assess status and identify resolution opportunities Prepare deposition materials and coordinate logistics with court reporters, interpreters, and opposing counsel Attend QME depositions to support attorneys, taking detailed notes and managing exhibits Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred 1+ years of experience in workers' compensation litigation or civil litigation support strongly preferred Working knowledge of California workers' compensation procedures and QME processes Prior experience as a litigation clerk, legal assistant, or paralegal is a plus
