In-PersonTravel Time: 40%-60% across the State of CaliforniaSalary:$75,000 - $85,000Description:The Finance Director will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive fundraising plan for the campaign. This includes identifying donors, organizing fundraising events, managing donor relationships, and ensuring the campaign meets its financial goals. The Finance Director will report directly to the Campaign Manager.Responsibilities:Develop and execute a fundraising plan in collaboration with the candidate, campaign manager, staff, and stakeholders.Maximize fundraising efforts through sources such as call time, events, PAC contributions, digital, and direct mail.Identify potential donors and fundraising opportunities across the State.Plan, coordinate, and execute in-person and virtual fundraising events across California, including house parties, donor briefings, and large-scale receptions.Ensure all fundraising activities are fully compliant with California FPPC laws and regulations.Requirements:Minimum of two cycles of campaign finance experienceFamiliarity with California's political fundraising landscapeAbility to travel state-wide fundraising tripsExcellent organizational skills, incredible attention to detailAbility to take ownership of projects and work independently when necessaryAbility to work effectively within a flexible and adapting work environmentDemonstrated ability to develop and maintain systems for record-keeping and reportingKnowledge of and experience with NGP as well as Google Sheets or ExcelAbility to work in a fast-paced team environmentStrong verbal and written communication skillsGoal-oriented work ethicAbility to work long hours and weekendsStrong understanding of campaign compliance laws and filing deadlines
