To support youth mental health initiatives, the part-time California Licensed Youth Wellness Coach will provide empathetic coaching to students in grades 4-12 through chat-based and audio/video sessions, working remotely on a contract basis during flexible hours that align with student demand. Key responsibilities Provide responsive coaching to young people navigating stress, relationships, identity, and academic pressure Support students from diverse backgrounds with cultural awareness and follow established crisis protocols Engage in ongoing training and adapt to new tools and processes as the organization evolves Required qualifications California Wellness Coach Certification or eligibility via Workforce or Education pathways Minimum 1 year of coaching experience with proof of certification Associate's degree or higher in a relevant field Reliable laptop or desktop computer and internet connection (50+ Mbps download) Private, distraction-free workspace
