To support trauma program initiatives, the full-time California Licensed Trauma Registrar will manage the review and documentation of trauma patient data, perform ICD-10 coding, and identify performance improvement issues in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Review and document trauma patient demographic and clinical information in the Trauma Registry database Apply clinical theory to abstract and analyze trauma cases, developing educational courses for nursing staff Promote compliance with policies and act as a resource for nursing team members Required qualifications Bachelor's Degree in nursing or a related healthcare profession, or equivalent clinical education/experience Three years of relevant experience with Trauma Registries Completion of a Trauma Registry course Proficiency in ICD-10 coding Thorough knowledge of Trauma QI standards and clinical chart review processes
