Leading a team of technicians, the full-time California Licensed Technical Project Lead will manage the design and implementation of access control and intrusion detection systems for a DoD client, ensuring project success and safety compliance while working remotely from San Diego, CA. Key responsibilities Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of technicians, organizing project tasks and schedules to foster a collaborative work environment Design and organize installation plans for Government Grade security systems, supervising the team's work on high and low voltage systems Provide hands-on guidance for installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of security equipment, ensuring system reliability and compliance with safety standards Required qualifications Current Active Secret Clearance Extensive experience in a technical lead or foreman role with security systems Proven ability to manage and lead a team in the installation and maintenance of security systems Expertise with systems such as Hirsch, Lenel, Axis, and Milestone Ability to obtain and maintain current Industry Certifications, including California Life and Safety Technician and OSHA Safety Standards
