Working remotely in a full-time capacity, a California Licensed Software Engineer II will design and develop custom software and systems, collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment, and enhance product value through technical solutions and stakeholder engagement. Key responsibilities Design and develop software according to ticket specifications while participating in code reviews Engage in scrum ceremonies, including backlog grooming and sprint planning, to facilitate project progress Collaborate with stakeholders to understand workflows and propose enhancements based on critical analysis Required qualifications A minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in Python development Experience with Flask and/or Django frameworks and frontend development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Proficiency in working with relational (e.g., MySQL) and non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB) Ability to develop, maintain, and enhance Python applications with a focus on scalability and security Basic understanding of Docker containers and web services (e.g., REST, SOAP)
