Managing prior authorization requests and pharmacy benefits, the full-time remote California Licensed Senior Pharmacy Technician will independently resolve claims and eligibility inquiries while serving as a technical resource for team members. Key responsibilities Independently review and resolve prior authorization requests using clinical criteria and established guidelines Communicate coverage determinations and educate providers and members on claims processes and reimbursement guidelines Identify workflow gaps and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality Required qualifications High school diploma or equivalent GED 2 years of work experience as a pharmacy technician Licensed Pharmacy Technician in California Strong knowledge of pharmacy workflows and reimbursement processes Proficiency in pharmacy systems and Microsoft Office applications
