Key responsibilities Manage moderate to high-exposure California workers' compensation claims from investigation through resolution Determine compensability, establish reserves, and administer medical and indemnity benefits Handle litigation, coordinate with defense counsel, and develop settlement strategies Required qualifications 7+ years of workers' compensation claims experience, including complex claims Strong knowledge of California workers' compensation laws and regulations Ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making skills
