To support the evaluation of teacher candidates, the part-time California Licensed Scoring Associate will remotely evaluate submitted artifacts, engage in consensus scoring activities, and ensure adherence to established scoring standards. Key responsibilities Evaluate artifacts submitted by teacher candidates for various education subjects Internalize scoring standards and participate in discussions with other scorers Recognize and address various types of bias in scoring practices Required qualifications Hold an educator certification with at least three years of teaching experience or be a National Board-Certified Educator Experience as a scorer in the relevant content field is acceptable Basic computer skills (keyboard, mouse) are required Ability to sit for extended periods of time Ability to maintain a confidential work environment
