Providing professional podiatric expertise, the full-time Medical Reviewer (Podiatrist) will review podiatry-related medical records, claims, and Treatment Authorization Requests (TARs) in a remote work environment to ensure compliance with clinical and coverage requirements. Key responsibilities Review podiatry-related medical records, claims, and Treatment Authorization Requests (TARs) Evaluate requested podiatric services against applicable coverage requirements and medical policies Document clinical findings and review decisions accurately and timely Required qualifications Doctorate or Diploma in Podiatric Medicine, or Diploma in Chiropody Current California State license to practice Podiatry, in good standing One (1) year of experience in various clinical settings, preferably in podiatry Strong clinical judgment and ability to interpret medical records and treatment plans Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
