Seeking an experienced California Licensed Payroll Manager, the contract position will focus on executing end-to-end US payroll operations using ADP Workforce Now, troubleshooting system errors, and processing complex manual payroll calculations in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee and execute accurate end-to-end US payroll operations utilizing ADP Workforce Now Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve system errors and discrepancies related to payroll processing Perform manual payroll calculations, including off-cycle payments and complex adjustments Required Qualifications Advanced expertise in ADP Workforce Now with proven troubleshooting capabilities Proficiency in manual payroll processing and calculations without reliance on automated workflows Experience processing payroll for a publicly traded company with stock/equity compensation Demonstrated ability to resolve 401(k) funding discrepancies and setup issues Strong background in audit readiness and compliance reconciliations
