To support a dynamic patient-focused environment, the full-time California Licensed Patient Financial Specialist will manage patient financial inquiries, oversee the accounts receivable lifecycle, and resolve complex billing questions while working remotely. Key responsibilities: Proactively contact patients regarding outstanding balances and clarify insurance benefits Optimize patient account collections through timely follow-up and accurate payment processing Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure accurate documentation of patient interactions Required qualifications: 2+ years of customer service experience in a healthcare call center or high-volume patient support environment 2+ years of experience in medical billing, insurance claims, or healthcare revenue cycle functions 1+ years of remote working experience High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
