To support a growing healthcare facility, the part-time California Licensed MDS Coordinator RN will manage patient assessments, coordinate care plans in compliance with regulatory requirements, and oversee nursing staff to ensure quality care delivery in a remote setting. Key responsibilities Administer and oversee patient assessments and the assessment process, ensuring timely completion and compliance with regulations Coordinate care plans and manage Medicare and Medicaid documentation, including initiating coverage for eligible patients Direct daily nursing operations, ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures while providing leadership to nursing personnel Required qualifications Current California RN license with MDS Coordinator certification Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility settings Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations and documentation requirements Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively Experience in staff training and development within a healthcare environment
