Leading inpatient coding, billing compliance, and revenue integrity audits, the full-time California Licensed Internal Auditor will manage audit engagements from planning to reporting, provide guidance to operational teams, and support continuous improvement initiatives in Sacramento, California. Key responsibilities: Lead inpatient coding, billing compliance, and revenue integrity audits Manage audit engagements, including scope, timelines, budgets, and reporting Evaluate coding and recommend improvements based on regulatory and organizational requirements Required qualifications: California Licensed Internal Auditor certification Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) required; RHIA, RHIT, CDIP, and/or CCDS preferred Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience 5 years of recent relevant experience in auditing or healthcare compliance Extensive knowledge of hospital rules, regulations, and coding systems (ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, HCPCS)
