California Licensed Intake Specialist

Supporting patient access to care, the full-time California Licensed Intake Specialist will coordinate referrals, review clinical documentation, and ensure accurate service setup while working remotely in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Key responsibilities Review medical records and payer guidelines to determine patient eligibility and compliance prior to service delivery Communicate with patients about financial responsibilities, collect payments, and document interactions accurately Work with referral sources and internal teams to obtain complete documentation and facilitate the intake process Required qualifications One (1) year of relatable work experience required High School Diploma or Associate's degree in a relatable field such as Healthcare Administration or Business Administration Experience in management, administrative, clerical, insurance, billing, claims, call center, or customer service preferred Familiarity with healthcare organizations, pharmacies, or medical supply environments is a plus Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and healthcare systems
