Offering a flexible schedule and the opportunity to practice compassionate end-of-life care, the California Licensed Hospice Veterinarian will provide in-home euthanasia and hospice services to pets and their families in Ventura and surrounding areas, with a focus on meaningful interactions and support for grieving families. Key responsibilities: Deliver compassionate in-home hospice and euthanasia care to pets and their families Manage a self-directed schedule, accommodating personal commitments while ensuring quality care Engage with families to provide support and answer questions during difficult moments Required qualifications: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) degree Valid U.S. Driver's License Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance Willingness to complete license verification, background check, and driving record review Flexibility to choose weekend workdays that fit personal schedules
