Working remotely in California, the non-exempt California Licensed Home Loan Specialist will coordinate loan processing activities, communicate with members and vendors, and manage documentation and compliance tasks. Key responsibilities Coordinate and communicate information regarding loan transactions with members, Home Loan Advisors, and vendors Order title reports and flood certificates, follow up on appraisals, and assist in collecting necessary loan documentation Prepare and upload loan conditions into the Loan Origination System for tracking and assist with pipeline management Required qualifications High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred 2+ years of mortgage lending or processing experience preferred Understanding of state and federal laws related to credit union compliance including BSA, RESPA, TILA, TRID, and AML Ability to maintain knowledge of credit union policies and investor program guidelines Experience in managing loan quality and efficiency levels
