To support mental healthcare initiatives, the part-time Contractor Grant Writer will develop persuasive RFP responses and grant applications for California-based behavioral health programs while working remotely and setting flexible hours. Key responsibilities Develop and manage successful government proposals and RFP responses, ensuring compliance with funder requirements Collaborate with executive leaders and clinical teams to articulate program models and service outcomes Gather programmatic and financial data to produce clear, persuasive content under tight deadlines Required qualifications Bachelor's or master's degree in public health, Social Work, Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, or a related field Proven experience in proposal and RFP management within the behavioral health domain Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Skilled in information gathering and compliance auditing against RFPs and scoring rubrics Proficient in Microsoft Word and AI-supported proposal tools for document review workflows
