Key responsibilities Completes real estate escrow transactions by determining requirements, preparing closing documents, and disbursing funds Acts as a neutral liaison between parties, resolving title defects and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements Maintains escrow accounts by depositing funds, balancing transactions, and preparing final closing statements Required qualifications High School diploma or equivalent 2-4 years of related experience, preferably as an escrow assistant Valid Licensing/Certification as required by applicable state Familiarity with standard concepts and practices within the escrow/title industry Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
